I live in Southern New Hampshire with my husband Tim, where we are near to our children, grandchild, and parents. For almost thirty years, I practiced law as a family law attorney, advocating for both clients and children. Throughout my life, it became obvious to me that the experiences of my own personal challenges helped equip me with wisdom and insight that guide me when serving others. My life has become more meaningful when realizing I could transform the pain of the past into the blessings of the present, and that joy and sorrow are joined together in a poignant and healing way.
There have been many teachers, guides, and experiences that have helped shape my journey. Learning about yoga, Reiki, and finding my spirituality all helped me find a path to healing. I share my journey in my upcoming memoir The Truth So Help Me Good, and host a podcast by the same name.
I have engaged in the practice of yoga for almost 30 years. In 2009 I received a 200-hour Hatha Yoga teaching certification, and in 2011 received a 200-hour teaching certification in Kundalini Yoga. I have been initiated as a Reiki Master of Masters and ordained as an Interfaith Minister. In 2019 I received a teaching certification in the practice of Grief Yoga at Kripalu, after walking an end-of-life path with loved ones. In 2025 I completed a certification as an End-of-Life Doula, and serve as a hospice volunteer.
Yoga has been an integral part of my healing journey, and I love sharing its gifts with others. I currently co-facilitate yoga workshops for Grief and Loss.
As a breast cancer survivor, I have taken part in fundraising to raise awareness including the Susan Komen 3 Day Walk, and Trails for Dale.
